Hi, I'm Jordan.
I'm a Christian counselor, art therapist, wife, mom, creative, and lifelong learner—and I genuinely love the work I get to do.
I didn't become a therapist because I had everything figured out.
I became a therapist because I've always been fascinated by people—their stories, their emotions, their creativity, and the ways we grow through the things life hands us.
I've always been drawn to creating things with my hands. Growing up, I filled sketchbooks with dress designs, animals, and people, and I found a kind of quiet in creating that was difficult to find anywhere else.
Years later, I discovered art therapy and realized that creativity could be more than something I enjoyed. It could become a way of helping people understand themselves, express what words couldn't always capture, and experience healing in a different way.
That realization changed the direction of my life.
My work has grown with me.
My training began with art therapy, but over the years, my understanding of healing has continued to expand.
I've worked with different populations and approaches, explored the connection between creativity and emotional wellness, trained in yoga and mindfulness, and continued learning about the ways our minds, bodies, emotions, relationships, and faith all influence the way we experience life.
Today, that curiosity is part of what I bring into the therapy room.
I don't believe there is one perfect way to heal or one approach that works for everyone. I believe you are a whole person, and your care should have room for that whole person, too.
That's why my work may look different from session to session. Sometimes we'll talk. Sometimes we'll create. Sometimes we'll slow down and notice what's happening in your body. Sometimes we'll work more directly with something that's been weighing on you.
And sometimes the most important thing we do is simply create enough safety for you to be honest.
I'm usually with my family, making something, learning something, practicing yoga, or finding some small way to make an ordinary day feel a little more joyful.
I few things you should know about me…
I’m a huge Marvel fan— my favorite movies are Guardians of the Galaxy, Black Widow, and Doctor Strange. I also love other series like Lord of the Rings and StarWars.
I do my best to eat healthy but I love some chili cheese fries.
I’m a self-help junkie and listening to podcasts is one of my favorite past times.
I actively seek out pockets of beauty and savor them. The birds singing, the butterflies flitting about, the smile on my son’s face, the casted shadows amongst the trees… the small moments of joy that only last an instant.
We might be a good fit if…
You want therapy to be more than simply talking about what's wrong.
You appreciate a therapist who is warm and genuine, but also willing to gently challenge you when it's needed.
You are curious about yourself and want to understand what's happening beneath the surface—not just learn another coping skill to add to the list.
You value creativity, whole-person care, and the connection between your mind, body, emotions, relationships, and faith.
You want a therapist who will be compassionate without simply telling you what you want to hear or that you simply “need to pray more.”
If you're a parent, you want someone who will see your child as a whole person—not simply a problem to solve.
And if your faith matters to you, you want a therapist who respects that Jesus is part of your life without making you feel like you have to perform your faith perfectly.
If you're nodding along, we may be a really good fit.
And, yes—I have the credentials, too.
